Peter Figura has over 25 years of Financial Services industry experience.
Peter’s investment career progressed through several roles, including: Financial Advisor with a major Canadian full service investment dealer, Senior Manager of investment department at a major Ontario Credit Union, Director of Investment Marketing at an independent financial advisory organization, and VP Business Development at an independent investment services organization. Over the last twelve years, Peter has been involved in Private Equities in Canada where he headed up Sales and Marketing for some of the larger issuers.
Peter has an MBA from the University of Toronto, and completed many of the industry required professional courses.
Peter was a regular business commentator on the news channel CP24, and a contributor to The Exempt Edge, a publication of the National Exempt Market Association.
Very involved in professional organizations, Peter is a member of CAASA, and was a member of the Sales and Practices Committee of AIMA.
Currently Peter is a Professor at Humber College, Longo Faculty of Business
