International firm has already raised $130M from Canadian investors
Coller Capital, an investment firm focused on the secondaries in private markets, has opened its first office in Canada as it eyes expansion of private wealth distribution.
Working with the firm’s London and New York offices, the new Montreal office is led by Daniel Cohen, head of Canada Private Wealth Distribution, who has joined the firm from Fiera Comox Partners where he was head of investor relations. He has a background in corporate law.

Coller Capital has already raised $130 million from Canadian investors through a Canadian mutual fund administered by iCapital - Coller Capital’s first Luxembourg domiciled ‘SICAV’ fund CollerEquity.
The US$33 billion AUM firm’s Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions business has been a focus for its expansion and the team now comprises more than 30 dedicated professionals globally.
