Find out how high-quality, low-cost investment solutions can still create value at must-attend webinar event
When both stocks and bonds nosedived into deep negative territory last year, it was a punishing blow for investors with balanced portfolios. But even against that backdrop, low-cost diversification from asset-allocation ETFs remains appealing to advisors, according to one of Canada’s leading ETF providers.
“Every year, ETFs are gaining increased popularity with financial advisors who are looking for a diversified, liquid and low-cost investing option,” said Sal D’Angelo, head of Product for Vanguard Canada. “We have seen a strong growth in single-ticket asset allocation ETFs which advisors are using as a scalable solution that can form the core of a client’s portfolio.”
D’Angelo will be joining other industry insiders and subject matter experts at Wealth Professional’s next Advisor Connect event titled “How ETFs can help you take advantage of market opportunities” on April 20.
The webinar will delve into what’s in store for markets, the continuing critical role of index-based ETFs in client portfolios, and how the time-tested exchange-traded fund structure can play an even bigger part for advisors moving forward.
“Amid current market uncertainty and continued focus on costs, we see ETFs becoming an even bigger part of advisors’ portfolios in the year ahead,” D’Angelo says. “Many investors are looking for proven and globally diversified investment options in the current environment and we see that balanced approach really creating value over the long-term.”
The panel discussion will be moderated by WP’s Managing Editor James Burton. Attendees at the event can submit questions, with the most pressing inquiries and concerns to be tackled by some of the brightest minds and most informed authorities in Canada’s ETF industry.
“I’m really looking forward to connecting with my industry peers as we discuss opportunities to better serve advisors, and by extension their clients, with high-quality and low-cost ETF investment solutions as we seek to create a better ETF ecosystem for all investors,” D’Angelo says.
