New offerings provide Canadian investors with geographical diversification and access to expert investment managers
RBC Global Asset Management has announced the launch of its RBC Global Choices Portfolios, which provide investors an effective way to access the expertise of various investment managers while expanding beyond their Canada-based holdings.
Leveraging RBC GAM's extensive experience in managing portfolio solutions, the five RBC Global Choices Portfolios are invested in a selection of 10 funds handled by eight different companies.
"RBC Global Asset Management has been managing multi-asset portfolio solutions for over 35 years, including our RBC Select Choices Portfolios launched in 2000," Doug Coulter, President of RBC GAM, said in a statement. "RBC Global Choices Portfolios further expand our solution set, offering Canadian investors a curated selection of funds and ETFs managed by leading third-party managers while providing exposure to global equity markets."
The new suite of portfolios includes five options, which range from very consecutive to all-equity. According to RBC GAM, the management fees for each portfolio are:
- RBC Global Choices Very Conservative Portfolio - 1.60% (Series A), 0.85% (Series F);
- RBC Global Choices Conservative Portfolio - 1.60% (Series A), 0.85% (Series F);
- RBC Global Choices Balanced Portfolio - 1.85% (Series A), 0.85% (Series F);
- RBC Global Choices Growth Portfolio - 1.85% (Series A), 0.85% (Series F);
- RBC Global Choices All-Equity Portfolio - 1.85% (Series A), 0.85% (Series F)
The funds are also offered in Series O shares.
Along with the launch of the RBC Global Choices Portfolios, RBC GAM has added to its catalogue of index-based solutions with five new RBC Index ETF Funds, each of which invests in one or more iShares ETFs:
- RBC Global Bond Index ETF Fund
- RBC Canadian Equity Index ETF Fund
- RBC U.S. Equity Index ETF Fund
- RBC Global Equity Index ETF Fund
- RBC Emerging Market Equity Index ETF Fund
