Offerings are a response to 'evolution in thinking around portfolio construction'
With the introduction of an initial collection of eight ETF Series of RBC Funds, RBC iShares announced the expansion of its exchange traded fund roster. By utilizing the extensive investment management experience of RBC Global Asset Management Inc., the ETF Series expands on the current portfolio of actively managed ETF solutions provided by RBC iShares.
The ETF Series is a new series of selected RBC Funds that will trade on the exchange similarly to existing ETFs. With the introduction of this series, advisors and investors who favour ETF investments may now build their portfolios using actively managed RBC Funds.
"In response to changing markets and the evolution in thinking around portfolio construction, investors are increasingly looking to add actively managed ETFs into their portfolio mix," said Doug Coulter, President, RBC Global Asset Management Inc.
