Life or health insurance quote now available in just two touchpoints, says company VP
Simplicity and speed are at the core of ENCON’s new V+ feature, which allows individuals to buy post-retirement personal life, health and travel insurance.
A leading managing general agent in Canada, ENCON is targeting people, approximately 50 to 75 years old, who are close to retirement, or in retirement, and who are about to lose their company benefits.
Holly Murphy, vice-president of ENCON’s Retiree Benefits added that if they enrol within 90 days then clients don’t have to go through medical underwriting.
She said: “When you compare it to our competitors, they can get a quote in two touchpoints, while with our competitors it often takes at least three.
“When it comes to enrolling, we’ve gone from 15 days and 13 touchpoints to just three touchpoints. It’s about simplicity.”
V+ swiftly follows the launch of ENCON’s enhanced website, which provides innovative tools and content-rich environment to clients, brokers and plan advisors.
Murphy said users can mix and match products to ensure they fit in with their budge. Canadians can obtain quotes and enrol with one of ENCON’s life, health or travel insurance plans within minutes, with no paper applications.
Existing policyholders also benefit from a self-service account management dashboard that allows them to review their policies, make changes to their banking and contact information, and view or download renewal information.
Murphy said: “I’m very excited about this. I have worked in the retiree business for 25 years and this is something people are really looking to – and there is a huge market with all the baby boomers.”
