Changes to the process will result in almost 50% acceptance for individual product applications
iA Financial Group has simplified and accelerated the application process for its individual insurance products. According to the firm, representatives will be able to confirm instant point-of-sale acceptance for almost half of all life, critical illness and disability insurance applications.
The firm has streamlined its application process by relaxing requirements. For clients aged 50 and under who apply for life insurance coverage below $500,000, blood tests, results of vital signs and urine analysis results will no longer be required. Furthermore, EKG and stress EKG tests will not be needed in any applications for life insurance or critical illness insurance, regardless of age.
In addition, EVO, the new technological platform used by iA Financial Group, also allows many advantages that speed up the application process. These include an automated rating engine and the capability to use an electronic signature.
“We are aligning our efforts to make applying for insurance easier and faster, as much for our representatives as our clients,” said Pierre Vincent, senior vice president for individual insurance and sales at iA Financial Group.
