The unique program is expected to simplify access to life insurance for Canadians
Insurance Supermarket Inc. (ISI) has announced a new digital platform to help consumers learn about life insurance.
“We know that many consumers research life insurance online before they make a purchase,” said Alex Dudarev, CEO of the ISI Group of Companies. “Unfortunately, like everything else online, there is a lot of information, both good and bad, and much of it is confusing.”
ISI aims to solve this problem with its new iAgent platform, which connects consumers who are considering the need for life insurance with advisors who can assist them. Through the new platform, ISI said it would connect professional advisors face-to-face with consumers in most major centres of Canada in as little as 30 minutes.
Expecting their platform to help deliver a quick, comfortable, and personal education and purchasing process for consumers, ISI has partnered with several firms. These include insurer ivari and National Managing General Agents (MGAs) Financial Horizons, Hub Financial, IDC/Worldsource and PPI Solutions. According to ISI, these partnerships provide access to the largest network of independent advisors across Canada.
Based on historical results going back 7 years, ISI anticipates that over 50,000 Canadian consumers will use the program to meet with a professional advisor within the first 12 months.
