In this edition of WPTV, we sat down with Robert Frances, President and CEO of PEAK Financial Group, and Robert Ruffolo, VP of Business Development, to discuss PEAK’s recent recognition as an Excellence Awardee for Employer of Choice and the Tres Capital Award for Multi Office Advisor Network or Brokerage of the Year at the 10th Annual Wealth Professional Awards. This recognition reflects PEAK’s dedication to fostering a unique company culture and supporting independent advisors across Canada.

Frances attributes PEAK’s success to staying true to its core values, which have guided the company for over 30 years. “Our vision is a better world through the way people use money and the way advisors work. We’ve been loyal to that vision for 32 years, and I think that’s why these awards confirm we’re on the right track,” he explained. He also emphasized the importance of providing advisors with a distraction-free environment to help them perform at their best: “Advisors know our only focus is to help them be the best for their clients.”

Ruffolo expanded on how PEAK’s infrastructure supports its advisors and allows them to thrive in a competitive industry. “We’ve built a stable business model that allows advisors to work without the pressure of imposed targets or proprietary products. This independence means advisors can choose the best solutions for their clients. We’ve also invested in technology that saves advisors up to 200 hours of admin work per year, helping them focus more on their clients.”

Looking ahead, PEAK remains focused on innovation while maintaining its independence. Frances explained that the company’s growth is driven by its commitment to meeting the needs of advisors: “Growth is a consequence, not the goal. We stay close to our advisors, listening to what they need, and that’s what drives our long-term success.”
