Shares in Ottawa-based e-commerce firm Shopify increased by 14 per cent Thursday as it revealed a 90 per cent surge in Q2 revenues. The volume of business through its online service has doubled and the number of merchants using it has reached 175,000. Revenue grew to $44.9 and the company cut net losses to $3.3 million from $6.9 million in Q2 2014.
