A report prepared by the University of Windsor shows that no automaker invested in new capacity in Canada last year. The report only looks at new capacity or upgrades that add capacity and reveals that in four of the last five years there was no investment in capacity in Canada. China saw the lion’s share of investment followed some way behind by Mexico, the US and Brazil.
