The Bank of Canada's guide to the features on its new high-tech $10 bill is pretty engrossing.
You can learn about more than a dozen of its components, from the Canadian Shield to the Canadian coat of arms.
The note features the portraits of John A. Macdonald, George-Étienne Cartier, Agnes Macphail and James Gladstone and is meant to celebrate our 150th year as a nation. It will be released to banks June 1.
What you won't learn on the site is that on the web page announcing the bill, the bank included an "easter egg"—a hidden feature that comes to life only when you hit a certain set of keys. It's a tip of the hat to video-game aficionados, who will recognize the key combination as one from some well-known video games.
