BlackRock, Inc. today announced the appointment of Marcia Moffat as Head of its Canadian business.
BlackRock, Inc. today announced the appointment of Marcia Moffat as Head of its Canadian business. Marcia will join BlackRock this September, bringing more than 15 years of industry experience to the role.
“Marcia brings an exceptional blend of leadership experiences to our Canadian business,” said Robert Fairbairn, Senior Managing Director at BlackRock. “We see incredible opportunity to expand our footprint in Canada and, with Marcia’s insights and knowledge, she is ideally placed to represent the firm’s capabilities across our diverse set of clients, and to develop our long-term business strategy in this market.”
Marcia will be joining BlackRock, most recently, from her role as founder and principal at Compasar Solutions, a management consulting firm delivering strategic insights and advice to companies and their management teams in the financial services industry, including those in the asset and wealth management segment. She is currently a Board Member of Manulife Bank of Canada and Manulife Trust Company.
