Canada Goose to launch eyewear line in partnership with Marchon Eyewear

Canada Goose Holdings Inc. has announced on Thursday that it has entered into a long-term global licensing agreement with Marchon Eyewear Inc. to create its first eyewear collection.

According to BNN Bloomberg, the Toronto-based luxury apparel company has not disclosed the terms or value of the deal.

Marchon, which produces eyewear for brands such as Lacoste, Nike, Calvin Klein, and Ferragamo, plans to introduce sunglasses and optical wear under the Canada Goose brand in the spring, with the initial launch focusing on North America.

The eyewear will be available through optical retailers, department stores, Canada Goose shops, and its website.

In August, Canada Goose CEO Dani Reiss told The Canadian Press that he envisioned the company expanding into eyewear and luggage.
