A new digital investing platform enables newbies to take inspiration from the world’s high-profile investors.
Investipal’s new platform – that can be white-labelled by banks and other financial professionals - has a ‘sharing’ feature that lets users subscribe to portfolios from personal friends to public figures and well-known investment experts like Warren Buffett, Bill Ackman, and Cathie Wood, so they can learn from the best.
The platform also has professional portfolio grade tools and an algorithm that searches for the best investment themes to meet the individual user’s needs.
This could be ESG themes, those focused on AI, or ETFs that fit with their risk tolerance.
Cameron Howe, co-founder and CEO of Investipal, says he started the business to help people with DIY investing because he was always being asked for investment tips.
But he says the platform is not ‘another robo-advisor.’
“It acts as your personal guide by bringing you the knowledge you need and automates the part you would pay handsomely for – because that's the part of investing that helps weather the storms and where investing 'rookies' would not have the skill to manage a downturn," he explained.
