Charter airline CanJet has suspended operations with immediate effect as it tries to come up with a new business plan. The Huffington Post says that the Halifax-based airline isn’t closing but has laid off 15 pilots and 40 cabin crew. The airline operated scheduled flights until 2006 before switching to a charter model.
