The assets of bankrupt Cleveland-based Cliff’s Natural Resources will be sold off as the firm exits Canada. The firm is hoping to obtain the permission of a Quebec court next month to begin looking for a buyer for Bloom Lake mine, the Wabush mine and port and rail assets. The firm filed for creditor protection in January. Its chromite assets in Ontario are being sold separately to Noront Resources.
