Inflation in the Eurozone held steady at 0.2 per cent year-over-year in August, the same as in July. The figure defies talk of a slowdown in the bloc as the estimate shows unprocessed food and services offset the effect of lower energy prices. Reuters says that removing unprocessed food and energy prices from the figure shows a 0.9 per cent rise in consumer prices, again holding steady from July.
