Co-founder Nader Hamid lays out the components of award-winning approach to client care

That’s how Nader Hamid, co-founder of TWM Group, explained how his practice bagged the coveted AGF Award for Engagement, Loyalty and Client Care at the Wealth Professional Awards last year. To see the full list of honourees in 2021, click here.
The award recognizes client service and care as critical indicators of any advising firm's or office's long-term viability and success. For Hamid, a regular honouree among Wealth Professional’s annual Top 50 Advisors list, true client care means leaving no stone unturned in addressing their needs.
“Our investment committee’s research and analysis help us build the most robust portfolios in a fast-changing environment. In 2020, our exposure to alternative investments helped us navigate the pandemic crisis. Our meticulous due diligence process ensures each position has a sound economic rationale, clear visibility and a sound legal structure,” he said.
Beyond investments, Hamid said TWM Group offers comprehensive services across different facets of wealth management including retirement and estate planning, tax minimization, and business succession planning, among others.
Recognizing the need for efficient operations and smooth delivery of services during the pandemic crisis in 2020, TWM Group adopted one of the world’s leading CRM platforms. They also produced a new video series that addresses issues in current events.
“Our goal is to make sense of all the media noise, especially when there was a risk of media overload anxiety,” Hamid said.
The acronym in TWM Group stands for “Total Wealth Management,” and it shows. The practice takes every opportunity to go above and beyond in client service, frequently adapting their operations according to specific circumstances and conditions. At the same time, they take care not to make any unnecessary movements – being agile without being overreactive.
