A press statement from General Motors today pushed any decision on new investment in its Oshawa, Ontario plant to next year. There is concern that the company will not continue to manufacture at the plant after 2017 but GM Canada’s president Stephen K. Carlisle was giving little away by stating that the business environment surrounding the plant was under review and that no decision would be made until well into 2016.
