'Markets in current environment are very complex… so we're providing opinions', says Dynamic Funds
Dynamic Funds is offering a new three-part series in its Dynamic LIVE in Conversation, starting next Thursday, February 3. Advisors can enjoy any, or all, of the virtual sessions at no cost.
“Markets in the current environment are very complex. There is a lot of commentary available, but there’s very little that’s targeted at helping advisors with making better portfolio construction decisions with that complexity in mind,” Mark Brisley, Managing Director and Head of Dynamic Funds, told Wealth Professional. “We understand how important, given market conditions, that formula for construction is right now, from both an effectiveness and efficiency standpoint. So, what we’re trying to do is provide access to our own opinions to help them shape theirs’.”
The three-part series is the first Dynamic is offering this year. It focuses on three different streams, and a range of experts will provide a broad look at the market opportunities and some of Dynamics’ funds.
On February 3, “Legitimately Active Perspectives: The Year Ahead” provides a general portfolio management focus. On February 10, “Equity Income Investing: A Sector by Sector Deep Dive” provides a deep dive on sector coverage. On February 17, “Dynamic Active ETFs: A Legitimately Active Advantage” focuses on actively managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) opportunities, which Brisley said is more targeted to specific products that advisors can use in their portfolios.
The sessions are open to all. The three and one-half hour sessions begin at 11 a.m. EST and qualify for CE accreditation.
Dynamic Funds began offering virtual sessions in March 2020. It now has offered more than 50 portfolio management, conference calls, webcasts and Dynamic LIVE sessions online since then, and plans to continue providing online sessions for advisors’ convenience.
The recorded presentations will be available until March 16 for all those who register by then.
“We’re trying to provide timely, relevant, and accessible information to help advisors build resilient and efficient portfolios,” said Brisley. “That’s the ultimate goal for this series. Our company tagline says, ‘invest with advice’, so we do believe the most effective way for Canadian investors to access expertise and the type of products that we offer is through a qualified financial advisor.”
