Launched at the beginning of 2018, the site has already earned industry recognition
iA Financial Group has announced that it is expanding access to its My Retirement website, making it available not just to group plan members, but also to individual customers. The website includes financial and non-financial advice for various life and retirement stages, as well as tools to help clients prepare and plan their retirement savings.
“The My Retirement website is a reference tool for clients and supports our advisors in working toward our shared goal – increasing the financial literacy of our clients and supporting them throughout all the stages of their lives," said Manon Gauthier, senior vice-president for Individual Savings and Retirement.
The site was launched at the beginning of 2018; shortly afterward, it received an award for excellence at the recently held FCS Portfolio Awards gala in New York, which recognizes the best in communication and marketing within the financial services sector.
According to Valérie Lelièvre, senior director for Marketing, Communications and Product Development, Group Benefits and Retirement Solutions, the website is part of an overall approach to improve the financial well-being of iA Financial’s clients.
She added that the site fits into the firm’s CoPilot guidance program, a new initiative that supports plan members during important work-life shifts such as job changes or transitions into retirement. Retired clients in the CoPilot program also benefit from retirement management fees that are the same as the fees for their former employer’s plan, the firm said.
