The recipient was amongst the 32 nominees for the award
The Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC) has conferred this year's Top Under 40 Award to Matthew Rodier, a certified retirement specialist and portfolio manager with TD Wealth's Rodier Asset Management.
Rodier was recognised for his achievements in the areas of investment and retirement planning, as well as in customer service excellence, mentoring of younger employees, and community and charity work.
TD Wealth senior vice president Stephan Bourbonnais said Rodier perfectly embodies the ideals the award represents.
"Matthew Rodier is one of the most committed and passionate investment advisors I know; he goes above and beyond every day to provide his clients with the superior service that TD is known for," he said.
Bourbonnais said Rodier was also an avid volunteer in his community, spending time mentoring and coaching new advisors, as well as working with local non-profits.
Rodier is currently a co-chair of the annual golf & cycling event of the Just For Kids Foundation, a grassroots organization that raises funds to purchase vital equipment for the Montreal Children's hospital. He once served the organization as a board member.
Rodier was among 32 nominees for this year's Top Under 40 Award. IIAC president and CEO Ian Russel said the group continues to be impressed with the calibre of IIAC Top Under 40 Award recipients and nominees.
"The new generation and the personal and professional qualities they bring truly indicate that the future of Canada’s investment industry is in good hands,” Russel said.
