Global markets are cautious ahead of the second day of the Federal Reserve’s open policy committee meeting. Although there is no press conference planned there could be clues to any decision on interest rates. In Asia regional earnings results have brought mixed sentiment and most major indexes have closed lower; Tokyo and Shanghai bucked the trend. European investors have also got an eye on the Fed while reacting to local earnings results. Most indexes have been higher on early trade Wednesday.
