The last few weeks of 2014 saw a downturn in the growth of manufacturing at Canada’s factories. The RBC Canadian PMI fell to 53.9 in December from 55.3 in November. Anything above 50 is growth but the year ended with the weakest figure for three months. RBC’s economists are optimistic that manufacturing will see better growth ahead.
