More women in top Canadian jobs

A report by Rosenzweig and Company shows that women now hold 8.5 per cent of the highest-paid jobs in Canada’s top 100 companies.

A report by Rosenzweig and Company shows that women now hold 8.5 per cent of the highest-paid jobs in Canada’s top 100 companies. In 2011 the figure was 7.4 per cent and in 2006, when the firm started reporting the figures, it was 4.6 per cent. There are 45 women in roles such as CEO, CFO or vice-president and Rosenzweig’s managing partner Jay Rosenzweig says we are close to a gender-equality “tipping point”. Read the full story.
