She will lead the firm’s global investor relations program
Manulife has announced that Adrienne O’Neill has been appointed Head of Investor Relations with immediate effect, succeeding Robert Veloso who becomes Global Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Ms. O’Neill has been with the firm since 2007 and will now lead the global investor relations program and be the firm’s primary spokesperson to the investment community.
Although she was most recently Head of Private Markets Business Office at Manulife Asset Management, she has held several roles within Manulife’s insurance and wealth businesses.
"With over a decade of experience at Manulife and an extensive knowledge of financial reporting, Adrienne is very well positioned to lead our Investor Relations program," said Phil Witherington, Chief Financial Officer. "I look forward to her leadership in continuing to build our global shareholder base."
In his new role, Veloso will lead the global financial planning process and provide objective reporting and forward-looking insights to Manulife's executive leadership team.
He joined Manulife in 2010 and has held several senior roles in Investor Relations.
