The Premiers of Ontario and Quebec have signed a deal that means a joint effort on climate change and sharing of electricity. The two provincial governments held a joint cabinet meeting and also have consensus on the planned Energy East pipeline; acknowledging that environmental issues need to be addressed. Quebec has already made their position clear and Ontario will be doing the same shortly.
