Ursula Menke has been appointed as the newest Chair of the Investor Advisory Panel taking over from the outgoing Chair, Connie Craddock, on June 1.
“We would like to thank Ms. Craddock for her dedicated leadership of the Panel and continued involvement as a member,” said Howard Wetston, Chair and CEO of the OSC. “We are pleased that Ms. Menke has agreed to serve as Chair of the Panel and recognize the Panel’s important role in advising the Commission as well as its contributions to our goal of investor protection.”
Menke brings to the table more than 30 years of public and private sector experience most recently as Commissioner of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada.
While Craddock is stepping down as Chair after completing her two-year term with the IAP, she will be staying on as a Panel member. Also appointed to the seven member Panel for a second term is Ken Kivenko, the long-time investor advocate.
