There were losses for Blackberry after the firm issued a statement denying that it was in talks to sell to Samsung; a $7.5 billion deal was being reported yesterday. Bombardier also fell, by as much as 23 per cent, as the firm revealed 1,000 job losses in the US and Mexico as its Lear 85 business jet project was halted.
