List showcases the work top advisors are doing in their region
Wealth Professional has just revealed our annual 5-Star Advisors list for Eastern Canada. Pulled from a rigorous survey of Eastern Canadian clients, these advisors were chosen from a wide array of financial professionals. Over 200 advisors were nominated and whittled down to a recognized list of 12 advisors, assessed based on the quality of the service they provide their clients.

Survey responses highlighted the ways these advisors have gone above and beyond to help their clients.
“During husband’s recent illness, checked in regularly to see how he was doing and to offer support and assistance in any form. Compassion well beyond what would be expected,” one client said of their advisor on the survey.
“Been on call 24/7 to help coach me through a major career and life transition. His constant encouragement and reminders to invest in long-term visions and goals has helped land me where I was meant to be,” another respondent said.
Respondents also offered some of what they want from their advisors in terms of service delivery. Those include better integration with their banking, better online tools, tax preparation services, and greater emphasis on education.
To add context to the list, WP spoke with Julie Littlechild, founder and CEO of Absolute Engagement. She offered her insights into what makes an advisor stand out in their field.
“They’re thinking beyond just dollars and cents, and really looking at money in the context of the lives of their clients,” Littlechild said. “It’s thinking more and increasingly about the range of services they provide, the depth of support, really acting as a leader for their clients, and helping them not only reach their financial goals but to understand their goals and inspire them to get there.”
