The CRTC has ruled in favour of Rogers Media keeping exclusivity of the NHL GamePlus online and mobile app for its own customers. Bell and Telus had complained to the regulator but in dismissing their complaint it clarifies that content can be made exclusively for subscribers unless it created mainly for traditional television. The complaints had argued that app had been created to be used with traditional TV but the CRTC sided with Rogers that it is mainly for internet use.
