Firm welcomes 25-year veteran of the industry as new VP Advisor Growth and Advanced Markets
The Gryphin Advantage, the Hamilton, Ontario-based managing general agency, has bolstered its appeal to growth-minded advisors with the announcement of a new key hire.
“It is our absolute pleasure to announce the addition of Brent Swatuk to our team as the VP Advisor Growth and Advanced Markets,” Gryphin said in a statement today.
“With 25 years of experience in the industry, Brent has made a significant impact in helping advisors expand their knowledge of insurance products, and effectively solve problems through strategic solutions,” the firm said.
Throughout his long and storied professional career, Swatuk has built up a consistent record of training, coaching, and mentoring advisors. His extensive experience includes regional and national-level appointments at respected names in the insurance space, as well as advising many consumers, families, and small businesses with financial, tax, and succession planning.
Immediately prior to joining Gryphin, Swatuk had a five-year stint at Equitable Life, including four years as an advance case consultant. He held the same role at Canada Life, where he also amassed extensive experience as a regional marketing consultant, providing advisor training in the areas of insurance, tax planning, investments, and sales. Before that, he was national marketing director and tax and estate planning specialist at HUB Financial.
In the early years of his career, Swatuk thrived as a financial advisor and an independent consultant to consumers, employee benefits firms, and small business owners.
