While the year-above-year Tim Hortons sales are down (by U$8.3 million) Burger King sales are up (by U$8.7 million). Comparable stores’ sales fare better, gaining 5.3 per cent for Tim Hortons and 4.6 per cent for BK. Earnings per share came in slightly below expectations at 18 cents.
