Energy East overcame one of its problems Monday as TransCanada signed deals-in-principle with Quebec’s Gaz Metro and two gas distributors in Ontario; Union Gas and Enbridge Gas Distribution. CBC reports that the pipeline will provide all the natural gas requirements of the three companies and their customers and TransCanada will give customers a $100 million rebate.
