Thursday brought a day of highs and lows for the Toronto Stock Exchange as energy stocks strengthened but earnings results were mixed.
Thursday brought a day of highs and lows for the Toronto Stock Exchange as energy stocks strengthened but earnings results were mixed. Wall Street meanwhile digested US GDP figures which showed lower-than-expected growth in the second quarter. Asian markets closed mixed as Shanghai once again suffered losses and other indexes followed. European markets continue to shake off the spectre of the Greek debt crisis with a focus on positive regional earnings producing gains for the major indexes.
