A new report shows the rise of US companies that are leaving our shores in search of more favorable tax regimes. The analysis by the Congressional Research Service found that 47 companies set up home bases overseas in the last ten years, compared to 29 in the previous two decades. Many in government and business along with concerned citizens are calling for tighter controls on the increasing practice, which has big consequences for Treasury revenues. Read the full story.
