Billionaire Warren Buffett says he would have passed TransCanada’s Keystone XL pipeline plan if he was the US president. Buffett told CNBC that American needed to work with Canada noting that the two countries have been great trade partners for decades. He said the oil coming out of Canada would get sold either way and if the US makes things difficult “who knows how they’ll feel about making things more difficult for us someday.” Buffett was today named the world’s third richest man by Forbes with a net worth of U$72.7 billion, behind Mexico’s Carlos Slim with U$77.1 billion and Bill Gates on U$79.2 billion.
