Mackenzie Investments and Quadrus Investment Services have announced a slew of changes to their fund lineup.
The two firms are adding two new series options, QFW and HW, to their funds; the new options, expected to be available on or about August 7, are designed with the needs of high-net-worth investors in mind.
They are also launching the Global All Cap Equity Fund (Setanta), which is designed for investors seeking a unit-trust mutual fund alternative to the equivalent corporate class option already available. The new equity fund is also expected to be available on or about August 7.
Mackenzie also announced risk rating changes for eight funds. In compliance with the Canadian Securities Administrators' Risk Classification Methodology, the following changes were made:
From “Medium to High” to “Medium”
- Global Real Estate Fund (London Capital)
- U.S. International Specialty Class
From “Medium” to “Low to Medium”
- Dividend Class (GWLIM)
- Dividend Fund (GWLIM)
- Global Dividend Equity Class (Setanta)
- Global Dividend Equity Fund (Setanta)
From “Low to Medium” to “Low”
- Moderate Folio Fund
From “Low to Medium” to “Medium”
- U.S. Low Volatility Fund (Putnam)
No changes have been made to the funds’ investment objectives or strategies.
