The new funds allow investors to take in additional US exposure
TD Asset Management (TDAM), the manager of TD mutual funds, has launched a new US equity fund and a North American small-cap equity fund.
The TD US Dividend Growth Fund invests in successful, dividend-paying companies. Offering exposure to top-tier US companies, it seeks income and capital growth for investors, managing market volatility through reinvested dividends.
“Stocks for this fund will be meticulously selected, with a focus on companies that have a sustainable competitive advantage and grow free cash flow,” said David Sykes, managing director at TDAM and manager of the fund.
Meanwhile, the TD North American Small-Cap Equity Fund provides exposure to North American equities with attractive and stable growth potential. It invests in small- and medium-sized North American companies with prospects for enhanced long-term returns. A quantitative strategy is used to select US and Canadian small-cap companies that feature steady growth and sustainable leverage, and are expected to outperform the market.
“With a risk-adjusted focus, the fund can provide broad portfolio diversification for investors, while seeking to maximize returns,” said Jean Masson, another TDAM managing director who runs the small-cap equity fund.
