Industry veteran to head up firm’s Canadian efforts in real estate by fully integrating Canada-U.S. cross-border capabilities
Raymond James, the Canadian arm of Raymond James Financial, has enhanced its capabilities in real estate with a key hire.
The firm has welcomed industry veteran Onorio Lucchese as its managing director, Investment Banking, head of Real Estate.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Lucchese’s professional career spans both independent firms and bank-owned dealers. In his new position, he will oversee the integration of the firm’s cross-border capabilities in Canada and the U.S. as he heads up its Canadian corporate finance, advisory, and underwriting efforts in the real estate sector.
Lucchese will be supported by Raymond James’ Global Real Estate team, which includes 31 investment banking professionals and eight equity research analysts covering 121 companies. Consisting of more than 465 investment bankers across North America and Europe, the Raymond James Investment Banking team offers a full range of capital markets services with particular expertise in mergers & acquisitions, public offerings, and debt and equity private placements.
