The firm’s platform for advisors will now let users invest client assets in numerous active investment strategies
Wealthsimple for Advisors, a financial advisor platform offered by the leading robo-advisor in Canada, has announced a partnership with Forstrong Global Asset Management. Under the partnership, the platform will now let advisors invest client assets in any of Forstrong’s seven active investment strategies.
Forstrong has a long track record in managing globally balanced ETF portfolios, going back to 2001 and withstanding challenges such as the 2008 global financial crisis and the 2014 commodity bear market. Wealthsimple for Advisors will enable advisors to access Forstrong portfolios with no minimum account size or discretionary fees.
“We can achieve significantly greater efficiencies through technology, creating a great experience for both the client and the advisor, regardless of their investment strategy,” said Dave Nugent, Head of Investments at Wealthsimple for Advisors.
Wealthsimple’s platform for advisors promises a cost-effective way to manage client accounts, allowing advisors to simply handle compliance, investment management, and client communication concerns. It also promises client onboarding within 24 hours.
“Wealthsimple's platform is a great solution for efficiently delivering our investment strategies to advisors of any dollar amount,” said Forstrong Global President and Chief Investment Officer Tyler Mordy. “Through this partnership, we can focus on delivering the best risk adjusted returns to our clients.”
