One of Bay Street’s classic personalities, Caldwell has a pedigree that goes back to its bond trading roots of. Caldwell was heard a couple times this year chatting up the still-unknown consequences of the mass move by investors into index products. “I don’t know how, I don’t know when, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s where the next market blow-up is,” Caldwell told WP earlier this year.
