So far, 2017 has been a year of great change for Thane Stenner, the co-founder of StennerZohny Investment Partners+. In March, his team moved from Richardson GMP to the Graystone Consulting group of American banking monolith Morgan Stanley International. The switch also necessitated a change in surroundings – the team will now be based in the heart of Silicon Valley. By moving under the Morgan Stanley umbrella, Stenner – who retains control of the group as managing director – hopes to expand the team’s international footprint, catering to high-net-worth individuals, institutions and foundations.
