Since 2017, Karen Adams has been at the head of Fundserv, which services the entire Canadian investment industry, from major banks to asset management firms, operating as a giant file transferring machine and ensuring every trade is processed efficiently, accurately and securely.
In 2019, Adams was named CEO of the Year at the Wealth Professional Awards. When accepting the award, she hailed it as a win for gender equality in the financial industry. “It means so much,” she said. “As a woman leader, we don’t often get chances to be honoured and to be in the top spot, so it means a lot for me and all of the women at the organization.”
