Nick Bakish earned a spot on this year’s list after seeing his AUM grow by 9% to just over $133 million in 2018. Bakish, currently in his 16th year as an advisor, says a desire to help others inspired him to join the field. Moving forward, he’s hoping to further entrench himself into niche markets and increase his average household AUM. “I want to incorporate more complex corporate tax planning,” he adds.
Still, at the end of the day, helping people with their financial affairs is what brings him the most pride. “Every day, we help someone with their estate, house purchase or just navigating financial challenges,” he says.
