After starting his career as a telemarketer at just 18, Michael Zagari has come a long way to earn his spot on this year’s Top 50 Advisors list. “By 19, I was a licensed mutual funds representative,” Zagari says. “I absolutely love this industry.”
Now, 16 years into his career, Zagari is managing $46 million and sees himself remaining in the industry for a few more decades. “I am 35 years old and started my career at 19 years old at Investors Group,” he says. “During a recent team meeting, I looked around our boardroom and noticed how large our team has become over the years. We are now 23 attached advisors to Zagari, Simpson & Associates.”
For the coming year, Zagari says his focus will be on integrating more technology into his practice to help scale the business.
