Franklin Templeton unveils private credit strategy for Canadians

Franklin Templeton Canada has launched Benefit Street Partners’ private credit investment strategy for Canadian qualified investors today, using iCapital’s customized technology and servicing solutions.

Benefit Street Partners-Alcentra, managing over US$74bn in assets, is one of the largest alternative credit managers globally with a 15-year track record in private credit markets.

Their multi-strategy approach focuses on identifying attractive opportunities in global credit markets and careful deal selection.

Benefit Street Partners is a significant part of Franklin Templeton’s US$256bn alternatives business, which also includes Clarion Partners for private real estate, K2 Advisors for hedge fund strategies, and Lexington Partners for secondary private equity and co-investments.
