Launches include exposure to global fixed income and emerging market equities
BMO Investments Inc. has launched six new mutual funds designed to tackle the evolving needs of investors seeking improved fixed income and yield solutions in the midst of today's rapidly changing market.
The company has also expanded its product line-up with new focused and specialized fund mandates to give investors more choice. The new funds will provide investors with access to a diverse range of investment opportunities, including global fixed income and emerging market equities.

Six new mutual funds
The new mutual funds are as follows:
The BMO Aggregate Bond ETF Fund, available in Series A, F, I, and Advisor Series, aims to provide a return similar to one or more ETFs that primarily invest in Canadian bonds.
The BMO Corporate Bond ETF Fund, also available in Series A, F, I, and Advisor Series, seeks to provide a return similar to one or more ETFs that invest primarily in Canadian corporate bonds.
The BMO Global Energy Fund, offered in Series A, F, I, and Advisor Series, strives to increase investors' long-term returns by investing in equity and fixed income securities of companies involved in energy, alternative energy, or related industries around the world. BMOAM serves as the fund's portfolio manager.
The BMO Global Low Volatility ETF Fund, available in Series A, T6, F, F6, I, and Advisor Series, aims to increase long-term returns by investing in ETFs that hold global equity and fixed income securities.
The BMO Premium Yield ETF Fund, offered in Series A, F, I, and Advisor Series, seeks to provide a return similar to one or more ETFs that aim to provide exposure to a portfolio of U.S. large capitalization companies. The fund primarily invests in U.S. equity securities and derivative instruments to generate long-term capital appreciation and income and mitigate downside risk.
Lastly, the BMO Greater China Fund, available in Series A, F, I, and Advisor Series, aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in equity securities of companies in Greater China, which includes Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The fund also invests in equity securities of companies that benefit from exposure to Greater China. Polen Capital HK Limited is the portfolio manager of this fund.
The six new funds are now available for purchase through BMO Investments Inc. and its authorized dealers.
Meanwhile, BMO Private Wealth has announced the appointment of Kevin Barnes as head of private wealth distribution He will report directly to Meghan Meger and Geoff Newton, Co-Heads of BMO Private Wealth.
The role is new and Barnes will be responsible for defining and leading the business’ sales strategies, supporting the firm’s enterprise partnerships and driving future growth initiatives.
