Russell Investments Canada appoints Jonathan Needham as president with over 20 years of industry experience
Russell Investments has appointed Jonathan Needham as president of Russell Investments Canada Limited (RICL) and head of Advisor and Intermediary Solutions Canada.
Brad Jung, head of North American Advisor & Intermediary Solutions at Russell Investments, said that Jonathan Needham has more than 20 years of industry experience, including building businesses and leading teams.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Needham has held leadership positions at TD Asset Management, Wealthsimple, Vanguard Canada, and Fidelity.
Most recently, he was vice president and director, lead of ETF Distribution at TD Asset Management, where he focused on growing the firm’s ETF business.
He also worked as senior director, Distribution and portfolio manager at Wealthsimple and held multiple roles at Vanguard Canada, including head of Intermediary Distribution, head of Marketing, and national sales manager.
Earlier in his career, he was regional vice-president at Dundee Bank of Canada.
In this role, Needham will oversee the firm’s operations in Canada and contribute to its long-term growth. He will be based in Toronto and will also work on Russell Investments’ global operating committee.
